The only exception is kids with no choice due to their age, or their dumb-ass parents or guardians.

What is wrong with grown-folks?

 

During this seemingly never-ending pandemic, when people show up at the ER ask if they’re vaccinated. If they say “No, it’s my choice!” Inform them their line starts out by the rows of refrigerated trucks outside on the side. Furthermore, the medical staff who agrees with you are out there to take care of your every need. 

May I help the next person in line?   

All I know is that those Nurses & Doctors and other medical workers who don’t pull the plug on those off the hook people who ask for the COVID vaccine on their death beds, are angels. Am I mean when I say I’d find a way to trip and fall and sever all those dangling cords?

Media commentators, politicians and jerks posting misinformation about COVID over the internet get deserved what they deserve when COVID gets in their lane. And, a final word to all government officials who attack mask mandates, “Covid free zones” and “vaccination mandates” shut the hell up!  You know good and well you were first in line to be vaccinated just like Trump.  You want the virus I know where you can catch it. This can’t be a one-sided choice I have a right to be vaccinated and to be able to go to places where I know for sure all participants are vaccinated too.

 

OK, that’s really mean Asata but, are you guys telling me that everyone doesn’t know by now to at least wear a mask?  Nobody wants to wear them. I can barely breath in them. After more than one year plus of being unable to go to the gym, be around people and shop without a mask on I again have to wear one because of you and your freedom of choice. Vaccinations are free and available at just about every grocery store. No more going on the internet to make an appointment. Take trucks into communities where shots are not assessable.

Some of my family members in Sudan have had access to the Johnson and Johnson vaccination. But, not most. Some of it is access and money. Some don’t believe in getting any type of vaccination. God will protect them. Some don’t believe it is real and that America wants to kill them off.  You name it. But, it is spreading and it is not being adequately reported. According to Reuters;

And the myth that Africans are protected by the virus for two reason isn’t true. That;

1.  They have a strong immune system because they are exposed to so many other diseases like cholera, yellow fever, etc.  This by the way came from a medical doctor.
2. That is not the case for Black Americans who are “dis·pro·por·tion·ate·ly” getting COVID and ending up in the hospital or dying. Hello!
3. Moreover, when someone in the family does test positive it seems they don’t isolate and infect other people.

And now with the booster whenever I hear someone tell me they don’t need one I ask Why? They tell me their answer and I respond, “OK”.  By now most of us know that trying to convinces someone to mask or not, vaccinate or not, booster or not is a waste of breath.  Don’t tell me what to do. I get it.  Recent data, if you believe in science, shows that the Covid booster makes a major difference. Up to 90 percent protection. Hopefully there won’t be more configurations of this virus.  But, there are so many rules we all have to adhere too to protect ourselves and others. The list of things you can’t do in America is long. Here is just a few;

 

Stop at all stop lights and signs.

Wear your seatbelt.

Don’t use your cell phone while driving.

Do not drink and drive.

Don’t murder someone just because you feel like it. (Oh, by the way you can rent a gun in Arizona for a day. For what? Elk hunting?)

Don’t go outside naked in public and on and on.

Required vaccinations in America. 

Vaccinations? Here’s what Arizona has to say about this.

• Children in kindergarten through 12th grades are required to have vaccines against diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis (whooping cough), polio, measles, mumps, rubella (German measles), hepatitis B, and varicella (chickenpox).
• Adolescents who are at least 11 years old are required to have the above vaccines and two additional vaccines: a booster dose against tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis from the Tdap vaccine, and a quadrivalent meningococcal vaccine (MenACWY or MCV4) that protects against a bacterium called Neisseria meningitidis that can cause meningitis, gangrene, and rapid death.

Religious Exceptions

What the hell? If you don’t want to get your children vaccinated take them to a religious school so our kids in public schools don’t get contaminated. Some use this exception when they haven’t said a prayer in their life, nor believe in God or any other higher power. How do you prove it? Get a religious leader to sign your form. Most religions say you should cause no harm to other? Or that you should use the brain God gave you? I mean, even a damn robot, if you read any robot science fiction at all is programmed to protect itself from harm.

Questions, Myths, Facts & Solutions

First, how is it logical to tell women they have no individual choice for an abortion but, nobody can tell them you to put on a mask or get a simple vaccine?  And, yes, that is my choice but, will that affect you personally?  No. For all you know that unborn child and I made a joint decision. “Sorry Mommy you are too messed. You’re broke and you don’t have the means to proper care of me. I’ll go back with the other waiting souls until you either get it together or until I find someone else in a better situation.

Second, why go to my gym when the coach I pay to help me improve my health refuses to be vaccinated? I’m mad now because I was so excited to be back at my work-out. And, now my butt is back to Haggendass like somebody on crack. Ok not really, that’s overdoing it girl.  But, in solidarity with so many of you during this pandemic we have been eating our asses on or off as it goes.  And I was doing so well. With no requirement for a vaccines in gyms many of them are closing including my beloved Curves last week. No enough paying customers.

I say we come up with a new and improved “Scarlet Letter” for the proud American anti vaccine noise makers to wear. That way all us vaccinated folks know who the hell to stay away from.  I’m all for freedom of expression so don’t be shy “Express Yourself” and put on your letter.
