What is wrong with grown-folks?

First, during this seemingly never-ending pandemic, when people show up at the ER ask if they’re vaccinated or wore a mask. If they say “No, it’s my choice!” Inform them their line starts out by the rows of refrigerated trucks to the left. Medical staff who agrees with you work out there. Next! 

Second, all I know is that those Nurses & Doctors who don’t pull the plug on those off the hook people who ask for the COVID vaccine after they made the choice not to wear a mask or refused to get a simple vaccine are dying are Angels.

Third, the media commentators, politicians and jerks posting misinformation about COVID over the internet deserved what they get when COVID gets in their lane. A final word to government officials who attack mask mandates, “Covid free zones” and vaccination mandates shut the hell up! You want the virus I know where you can catch it.

OK, that’s mean Asata but, are you guys telling me that everyone doesn’t know by now to at least wear a mask? Nobody wants to wear them. I can barely breath in them. But, but now I have to wear one because of you. 

Vaccinations are free and available at just about every grocery store. No going on the internet to make an appointment. Take trucks into communities where shots are not assessable. Come on now we can do better than this.

Questions, Myths, Facts & Solutions

First, how is it logical to tell women they have no individual choice for an abortion but, nobody can tell them to put on a mask or get a simple vaccine? 

Second, why go to a gym where the coach I pay to help me improve my health refuses to be vaccinated? I’m mad because I was so excited to be back at my work-out. 

Third, I say we come up with a revised “Scarlet Letter ‘A'” for the proud American individualists to wear, so we all know who the hell to stay away from.  I’m all for freedom of expression so, “Express Yourself” and put on your letter.

The Scarlet Letter was “one of the most widely read and respected nineteenth-century American novels” that tells the story of Hester Prynne, a young wife in Boston, Massachusetts (my home state). Hester becomes pregnant from an illicit affair with the local minister. The scarlet letter ‘A’ was for adultery. According, if you went to school in Boston like me it was surely on your reading list
