Because, they believed the 2020 election was unfair. But, that wasn’t the only reason. Because that uprising was in the works for years.  

With the right motivation anything is possible.

Next: January 12, 2021: Accordingly, Congress approved a resolution late Tuesday calling on Pence and the cabinet to invoke the 25th Amendment to the Constitution to declare the president unable to serve. Meditating on that noose he saw dangling out front he probably rubbed his neck and said,  “Nah, you got that Congress. I’m good” Scaredy cat.

Finally: January 13, 2021: Congressman James McGovern (D) brought to the House Floor H. Res. 24, the article of impeachment against Trump. Ten Republicans voted in favor of impeachment. Therefor, the worse President in US history was impeached twice.

People told me it will ban Trump from a 2024 presidential run. In addition, he’ll lose his pension, lifetime secret service protection, and travel allowance. Apparently, according to CNNWire’s Daniel Date in his, “Fact Check: No Impeachment itself won’t do it”, article that’s not entirely true. He notes that the Senate’s vote to impeach the former President would not alone prohibit Trump from running in 2024. And so, Congress would have to hold an additional vote on that issue.
